PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique related to a printing apparatus.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus performs printing by relatively scanning a printing head in a main scanning direction or a sub-scanning direction with respect to a printing medium. The printing head includes: color ink nozzle rows in which a plurality of nozzles for ejecting color ink is arranged in the sub-scanning direction; a first light-shielding ink nozzle row in which a plurality of nozzles for ejecting light-shielding ink is arranged in the sub-scanning direction; and a second light-shielding ink nozzle row which is different from the first light-shielding ink nozzle row in which the plurality of nozzles for ejecting the light-shielding ink is arranged in the sub-scanning direction. The first light-shielding ink nozzle row is formed at a position which overlaps with the color ink nozzle rows in the main scanning direction. The second light-shielding ink nozzle row is formed at a position which does not overlap with the color ink nozzle rows in the main scanning direction. |
