METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TESTING CURRENT OUPUT LOOP IN DISTRIBUTED CONTROL SYSTEM

Proposed are a method and an apparatus for testing a current output loop in a dispersion control system. According to the present invention, an apparatus for testing a current output loop comprises: a current output module to apply a current having a first current value to a current output loop; a first current sensing circuit to measure a current by being located between the current output module and a load; a second current sensing circuit to detect a current by being located between the load and the ground of the system; and a processor connected to the current output loop, the first and the second current sensing signal. The processor is configured to compare at least two of the first current value, a second current value measured in the first current sensing circuit, and a third current value measured in the second current sensing circuit, and then to determine whether the current output loop is abnormal or not based on the compared result. Through the present invention, the apparatus may effectively determine a cause of an abnormal state when the abnormal state is generated in the current output loop in the dispersion control system and may rapidly repair or maintain the current output loop by grasping a position of the abnormal current output loop.
