A battery operated low power device characterized by a receptacle containing, manual or pressure activated switch, Bluetooth module and transmitter, and dual oppositional weighing platforms. When the invention indicates an increase in weight or the manual switch is activated a signal is sent via Bluetooth module to a Bluetooth enabled device or network. This signal will serve an indication that an item has been added on top of the scale, the implication being that mail has been delivered. This information would be then transmitted wirelessly either directly to the end user or through a relay through an intermediary within range of the device. |
