<p>Disclosed is a temperature detection circuit having a simple circuit structure. The temperature detection circuit comprises a temperature detection unit and a buffer unit. The temperature detection unit detects a temperature of a semiconductor chip by using change in accordance with a temperature of forward voltage of diode to generate first temperature detection voltage in a first node. The buffer unit has a cascode emitter follower structure and generates second temperature detection voltage by buffering the first temperature detection voltage. Thus, the temperature detection circuit has small chip size and can generate accurate temperature detection voltage insensitive to noise without using a buffer consisting of an operational amplifier.</p> |
