<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy management device and an energy management method capable of reducing total energy consumption of a plurality of facilities by appropriately controlling the energy consumption of an air-conditioning facility.SOLUTION: A server power management device 40 comprises a control section 43 which commands an air-conditioning facility to execute operation in a first mode where cooling performance thereof is controlled to be first performance or the operation in a second mode where the cooling performance thereof is controlled to be second performance which is stronger than the first performance. Energy consumption of influenced facilities is influenced by variation in the cooling performance of the air-conditioning facility.</p> |
