<p>The present invention relates to a power cable and a method for manufacturing the conductor of a power cable. A power cable according to the present invention includes a flat conductor which consists of flat wires which are stranded and successively formed on a center wire, an internal semiconducting layer which covers the outside of the flat conductor, an insulating layer which covers the internal semiconducting layer, an external semiconducting layer which covers the insulating layer, and an outer cover which is formed on the outside of the external semiconducting layer.
