The method for providing a help of user equipment according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following processes of: verifying information regarding a certain function outputted from a reproduced image and the meta information related to the image through the reproduced image; verifying whether the user equipment supports the certain function based on the information regarding the verified certain function; activating a help function regarding the certain function once it is confirmed that the user equipment supports the certain function; and outputting the help regarding the certain function.
