<p>The present invention relates to a method for inspecting a stain on a polarizing plate. Light is irradiated in order that reference brightness of light transmitted through a reference polarizing plate and an inspected polarizing plate arranged to be perpendicular to the same can be 1 nit or more, and brightness of light transmitted by each area is measured. Therefore, a site on the inspected polarizing plate corresponding to a site wherein the difference from the reference brightness is not less than 0.5 is determined as a stain, thereby the stain on the polarizing plate can be more easily determined, and the stain can be quantitatively evaluated with high accuracy.</p> |
