PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil for internal combustion engine in which the amount of insulation resin, filling a case, is reduced by shaping the case to copy a coil so as to achieve reduction in size and weight in order to enhance fuel economy, while widening the car space by narrowing the engine room.SOLUTION: A first case 50 and a second case 60 are shaped to copy a coil and an ignitor 70, the first case 50 and second case 60 have joint surfaces that are connected by friction stir welding. |
