The present invention relates to a hydroponic flower pot that supplies sufficient nutrition to roots and supports roots breathing of a plant by repeatedly soaking the roots in the nutrition liquid and discharging the nutrition liquid, the hydroponic flower pot according to the present invention includes: a nutrition liquid tank with storage space for nutrition liquid; a plant water tank installed at the top of the liquid tank and having temporary storage space for the nutrition liquid supplied from the liquid tank; a plant bed mounted at the top of the plant water tank but having at least one or more drilled holes; at least one plant port inserted into the drilled hole of the plant bed; a water pump electrically operating and installed at the bottom of the liquid tank that supplies the nutrition liquid stored in the storage to the space of the plan water tank; and a water supply and drainage pipe that connects the water pump and the plant water tank and that either supplies the nutrition liquid from the nutrition liquid tank to the plant water tank or discharges the nutrition liquid from the plant water tank to the nutrition liquid tank. By operating the water pump, water is supplied until the root of the plant is sufficiently soaked in the water and when the water pump stops operating, the water supply and drainage pipe will completely drain the water to make sure that the nutrition liquid is recovered to the nutrition liquid tank. By repeating water supply and drainage operations, sufficient nutrition is supplied to the root despite the small amount of water used and also root breathing of the plant is helped to promote the growth of the plant. |
