<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of color material used for recording and to increase the reuse frequency of a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus includes an image input section 100 for inputting image data; a first image processing section 101a that does not include processing of converting information about brightness of the image data input by the image input section into information brighter than the brightness; an image processing section 101b for enabling selection of second image processing including converting processing into bright information; a first recording section 102 for recording the image data image-processed by the image processing section in a recording medium with a first color material that is not eliminated when the first image processing is selected; and a second recording section 103 for recording the image data image-processed by the image processing section in a recording medium with a second color material that is eliminated when the second image processing is selected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
