The present invention disclosed a floating device for a spider excavator and a spider excavator comprising the same. The said floating device comprising a central hub of which comprising a floating member assembled to the each of the lateral side of the said central hub; and a floating tank assembled to each of a free end of the floating member. The spider excavator and the floating device are prepared with a corresponding mating element such that it permit coupling of the floating device to the underside of the spider excavator.
