The lamp comprises two illuminating surfaces (2) on two opposite sides of a lamp housing (6) for direct lighting or indirect lighting. Light sources are provided in the form of light emitting diodes (LEDs) for generating the direct lighting and indirect lighting in thermal contact with the lamp housing. The lamp housing is formed as an integral body made of solid heat conductive material having a specific thermal conductivity. The lamp housing is formed of an aluminum die casting. The LEDs for direct or indirect lighting are arranged on circuit boards.
