Repairing and sealing method for tank with leak problems due corrosion, and repair sealer coating

The method consists of, after cleaning the interior of the tank, the application on the interior surfaces of the tank to be repaired with a sealant coating comprised of a thick continuous sealant layer formed by a structural polyurethane adhesive, solvent-free, which is cured and covered by a topcoat nonreactive with the contents of the tank, waterproof, and compatible with said coating. The repair and sealant coating is comprised of a continuous sealant layer with a thickness of at least 2 mm and a topcoat with a thickness of approx. 500 microns.
