The present invention relates to an electronic device and a method for managing infra resource for processing digital contents. The method includes the steps of: checking load on at least one server processing a task; estimating expected time for processing an additional task based on the load on the server when the additional task is requested; and adjusting the number of servers needed to process the task based on the expected time for processing the task. Various other embodiments are also possible.
