<p>The method involves reading an identification label (1) by using a terminal (2) e.g. smartphone, to establish a type of department store, in which a product is marketed, from the label and to provide a list of contextual information from the identified type. A sign of the store, in which a user is found, is identified in order to select information from the list of contextual information to be provided to the user according to sign and send the selected information to the user. Product marketing brand is extracted from the label, and the sign of the store is identified from the band. An independent claim is also included for an architecture for providing contextual information from a product to a user.</p> |
