PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust pipe opening control unit and a vehicle exhaust system capable of dispensing with arranging a line to a vehicle speed sensor of a vehicle and facilitating wiring process.SOLUTION: An exhaust pipe opening control unit comprises: a valve 3 attached to an exhaust pipe of an internal combustion engine mounted in a vehicle and capable of varying an inside diameter of the exhaust pipe; an actuator 4 driving the valve 3 to be able to change the opening of the valve 3; a controller body 6 connected to the actuator 4 via a line and controlling the actuator 4; and a GPS receiver 7 connected to the controller body 6, receiving a radio wave signal from a GPS satellite, and acquiring positional information, the controller body 6 calculating a vehicle speed on the basis of the acquired positional information, driving the actuator 4 in response to the vehicle speed, and adjusting the opening. |
