PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a kit and biomarkers for diagnosing or detecting colorectal neoplasia in a human subject.SOLUTION: The method of the invention comprises the steps of: collecting one or more samples from a subject suspected being suffering from colorectal neoplasia; determining an overall expression pattern or level of one or more microRNAs obtained from one or more biological samples from the subject; and comparing the overall expression pattern of one or more microRNAs obtained from one or more biological samples from the subject with the overall expression pattern of one or more microRNAs obtained from one or more biological samples from a normal subject not suffering from colorectal neoplasia, where the overexpression of a combination of miR19a and miR19b, or a combination of miR19a, miR19b and miR15b is an index of colorectal cancer.
