PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that suppresses the generation of unevenness in characteristics even when the thickness of a photoconductive layer varies.SOLUTION: In an electrophotographic photoreceptor 1 that includes a cylindrical base substance 10, and a photosensitive layer 11 including at least a photoconductive layer 11b formed on the cylindrical base substance, the photoconductive layer includes an amorphous silicon containing dopant and has a first area having a thickness increasing from one end to the other end of the cylindrical base substance; the dopant includes an element of the group 12 or the group 13 of the periodic table; the first area of the photoconductive layer is a p-type semiconductor; and the concentration of the dopant increases as the thickness of the photoconductive layer increases in the first area. |
