The present invention relates to a container ship. The container ship comprises: a ship body wherein a cabin is installed in an upper portion, and a cargo tank and a fuel tank provided on a lower portion based on a deck; a gas fuel tank installed inside the fuel tank to store gas fuel, elongated on one side; and an engine room receiving fuel from the gas fuel tank to generate propulsion of the ship body. Two or more gas fuel tanks are horizontally installed standing upright when the ship body is seen from a horizontal cross-sectional surface. Accordingly, a loading space of a container loaded on the deck can relatively be widened as a width occupied by the fuel tank in a longitudinal direction of the container ship so as to enable the container ship to load more containers than other container ships having the same size. Therefore, the present invention is capable of improving transportation ability of the container ship, and improve economic efficiency. |
