<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply apparatus having improved COP (coefficient of performance). <P>SOLUTION: The hot water supply apparatus 1 includes: a plurality of hot water storage tanks 3 to 8 connected in series; a water heating device 2 which supplies hot water having an elevated temperature to the hot water storage tanks 3 to 8; and a hot water feed flow passage for leading the hot water stored in the hot water storage tanks 3 to 8 to a hot water supply terminal 27. The hot water supply apparatus further includes: temperature sensors which are disposed on at least one of the hot water storage tanks 3 to 8 and measure the temperature of hot water stored in the hot water storage tanks 3 to 8; a bypass pipe 24 which leads the hot water in the hot water storage tanks 3 to 8 in which the temperature sensors are disposed to the middle of the hot water feed flow passage; and a controller which opens a bypass valve 25 disposed in the middle of the bypass pipe 24 when a value measured by the temperature sensor is determined to fall into the range of middle temperature water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
