<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat slide device that improves the usability, when largely sliding a first vehicle seat to a lock area of sliding of a second vehicle seat, and when a first vehicle sheet that makes the above slide, reaches the boundary of both lock areas, even if including the auxiliary lock mechanism that locks this slide. <P>SOLUTION: When a first vehicle seat 1 is slid by operating a handle 40, and a stopper pin 60 reaches a concave hole 14, a control link 70 presses by the biasing force, the stopper pin 60 so that the tip of the stopper pin 60 fit into the concave hole 14, and the slide of the first vehicle seat 1 is locked.
