<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine in which washing performance is improved and washing time is reduced.SOLUTION: A drum type washing machine includes: water supply means 11 for supplying water to space between a water receiving tank 2 and a rotary drum 3; water level detection means 12 for detecting a water level in the water receiving tank 2; water circulation means 10 for allowing washing water in the water receiving tank 2 to be discharge into the rotary drum 3; heating means 22 provided at the lower part of the water receiving tank 2 and for heating the washing water; and driving means 4 for driving the rotary drum 3. The control means 14, in a water supply step at the starting time of a washing step, supplies water up to a water level which is higher than the water level in which the washing water in the water receiving tank 2 is stirred by the rotation of the rotary drum 3, and in which most of the laundry does not become hydrous, and then rotates the rotary drum 3. After that, the washing water is heated by the heating means 22, and the water circulation means 10 is driven.</p> |
