The invention relates to a multi-layer security document body (2; 2'), wherein a first layer (3; 3') comprising a first plastic material made of a thermoplastic elastomer, preferably a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), and a second layer (6; 6') comprising another plastic material, preferably a high temperature resistant plastic, particularly preferred a polycarbonate (PC), are stacked flat on top of each other, and wherein on a boundary (7; 7') by local fusion a connection that cannot be detached without destroying it is formed by the application of energy into a boundary (7; 7'). The invention further relates to a method for the production of such a multi-layer security document body (2; 2') and to a device (1) for the production thereof. |
