INSTALLATION FOR SINGLE-SIDE AUTOMATIC WELDING OF SHEETS

FIELD: metallurgy.SUBSTANCE: device is intended for single-side welding of butt joints in sheets preliminary assembled from sheet blanks. Sheet (1) supplied by roller conveyor (3) is fixed in welding zone. To set position of the welding head (4) relatively to the butt joint the device elements can move along the sheet (1) by means of the trolley (2). The trolley (2) has rotating support carriage (6). On the support carriage (6) power beams (11) with clamps (12) for the welded sheets (1) and support beams (13) with guides (14) of the welding machine with head (4) are secured. The forming backing (5) is located parallel to the guides (14) and is installed on the support carriage (6) with possibility of vertical movement relatively to the welding head (4). To visualize position of the longitudinal axis of the forming backing (5) relatively to the butt joint of the welded sheet plates (1) on the support carriage (6) the laser indicator is installed, and welding head (4) is set to the light mark of the laser beam. The device has automatic control panel and unit of recirculating water cooling of the forming backing.EFFECT: improved device characteristics.2 dwg
