<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric planer capable of suppressing the heat generation of a control unit by using a fan air as a cooling air.SOLUTION: An electric planer comprises: a casing in which an intake port and an exhaust port are formed; an electric motor provided inside the casing and having a rotary shaft; a power supply part for supplying electric power to the electric motor; a control part for controlling the power supply to the electric motor, which is connected to the electric motor and the power supply part; a cutter block which is provided rotatably in the casing around a shaft center that is parallel to the rotary shaft, configured to attach a cutter for cutting a material to be cut, and rotated and driven by the rotation of the rotary shaft; and a fan for generating a fan air in the casing, which is provided inside the casing. An air channel from the intake port to the exhaust port is formed inside the casing. The air channel comprises a control part cooling air channel for cooling the control part by using the fan air. The fan is provided on the downstream side from the control part in a direction of the fan air flowing inside the air channel.</p> |
