A liquid crystal display device is disclosed. More specifically, the present invention relates to an efficient pixel control method for realizing a display device using the characteristics of a cholesteric liquid crystal, a cholesteric liquid crystal display device with enhanced flicker properties generated due to the control method and a driving method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the present invention has an effect of stably controlling a cholesteric liquid crystal panel with low power consumption without having a high-power main drive IC by comprising a plurality of thin film transistors in a pixel and applying a high voltage to the cholesteric liquid crystal through bootstrapping.
