<p>A reforming apparatus comprised of successive combustion chambers and successive catalytic reforming chambers is formed from a stack of plates by aligning penetrations in adjacent plates in the stack, the successive chambers being in fluid communication by groups of channels. Air and fuel are fed to the combustion chambers to provide heat to reforming reactants through heat exchangers. The apparatus is suitable for small scale production as well as large scale production.</p> |
