The present invention provides a switchable type display device which includes a display panel and a lens panel which refracts or transmits light from the display panel. The lens panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, first and second electrodes which are arranged on the inner sides of either the first substrate or the second substrate, a lens layer which is arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer which is arranged between the lens layer and either the first substrate or the second substrate and is composed of nano liquid crystals to fill a plurality of liquid crystal molecules in a nanocapsule.
