<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for reducing a traffic amount by providing a page by differentiating a compression rate according to an option value upon processing an HTTPS in the case where a request host is registered in an HTTPS white list, and upon a re-request of an image, when blocking unnecessary elements in response to a page (HTML) request within a ship by executing a proxy program in a terminal in a ship. The invention comprises: a ship terminal located in a ship in the sea and for receiving data from a web server in the ground by executing a proxy program; a ship proxy server, in response to a page (HTML) request from a ship terminal located in the sea through a wireless communication with the ground, blocking remaining elements except for mandatory elements through a proxy and for making an additional request of data based on additionally requested elements among the remaining elements, and based on a compression ratio option and for providing thereof to the ship terminal; a ground proxy server for receiving, from the web server in the ground, data (HTML document) corresponding to the page request from the ship terminal through the wireless communication with the ship proxy server and for providing, upon a re-request of an image, a compressed image converted to the image compression ratio requested from the ship proxy server; and a web server for providing, upon a receipt of a page request, requested data containing the web page to users by using HTTP of the web.</p> |
