A system for analyzing a business environment of an international gas plant development project in accordance with embodiments of the present invention comprises: a political system stability assessment unit for calculating a political system stability indicator (xp) for macroscopic stability of political and social systems of a participating nation which possesses an international gas plant to be developed; a business execution stability assessment unit which calculates an overall business execution stability indicator (xb) for the smoothness of investment and business in the participating nation and the reliability of business operation, an upstream expected compensation indicator (xu) for expected compensation in an upstream area for the investment of an international gas plant development project, a downstream expected compensation indicator (xd) for expected compensation in a downstream area for the investment of an international gas plant development project, and a business promotion condition indicator (xp) for administrative and economic conditions of gas industry of an ordering nation; and a general business environment evaluation unit for calculating a business environment indicator (xt) based on the political system stability indicator (xg), the business execution stability indicator (xb), the upstream expected compensation indicator (xu), the downstream expected compensation indicator (xd) and the business promotion condition indicator (xp).
