摘要 The robot (1) has a control unit (23) for generating and updating representation of a surface (8) to be cleaned based on distance from first and second surface elements sensed by a first measuring device (29) and a second measuring device (31). The control unit guides the robot over the surface to be cleaned based on the representation of the surface to be cleaned. The first measuring device and the second measuring device are aligned such that a direction of travel runs through a first solid angle (27) and a second solid angle that is offset in relation to the first solid angle. The surface element is a wall or fitment. The measuring devices are three-dimensional distance measurement devices.
