The present invention relates to a dental implant which is used as an artificial tooth. The dental implant comprises a fixture and an abutment, both elastically coupled to each other. A lower coupling axis part of the abutment coupled to the fixture comprises, among a plurality of elastic legs, an elastic coupling leg with a coupling means such as a coupling protrusion, a coupling groove or a coupling step, and a non-coupling support leg without a coupling means such as a coupling protrusion, a coupling groove or a coupling step; or a plurality of elastic coupling legs have different vertical positions respectively. Through both techniques, a space required to be bent can be decreased to enlarge the thickness of elastic coupling legs or the size of coupling means, such as a coupling protrusion, a coupling groove or a coupling step in some portions of elastic coupling legs on a lower coupling axis part of an abutment coupled to a fixture whose diameter is smaller compared to conventional implants, so the strength of elastic coupling legs can be enhanced to improve shock absorbing function and durability and significantly increase coupling strength so as to be kept longer in a coupled state. Also the size of a fixture can be decreased compared to conventional implants, so that an implant according to the present invention can be implanted into a patient whose alveolar bones are thin, without additional bone grafting. |
