The present invention provides an apparatus for controlling a power source for an ion pump, a circuit for controlling a power source and a method for controlling an apparatus for controlling a power source. The present invention improves a structure for outputting different output voltages by using a transformer-type apparatus for controlling a power source for an ion pump. An apparatus for controlling a power source for an ion pump according to the present invention includes an input part which an AC power is supplied to, an output part which outputs AC power received from the input part with one of a first high voltage DC power and a second high voltage DC power which is different from the first high voltage DC power, and a switching part which is arranged between the input part and the output part and is switched to output one of the first high voltage DC power and the second high voltage DC power. Thereby, the first high voltage DC power and the second high voltage DC power can be applied to an ion pump by using a power control device. So, the discharging performance of the ion pump can be improved and also the lifespan of the ion pump can be extended.
