PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtrate discharge mechanism for a filter press, which has an increased treatment capacity by effectively utilizing a plurality of sheets of filter cloth interposed between adjacent filter plates.SOLUTION: A filter press includes a dehydration unit having a plurality of filter plates 10 juxtaposed openablly and filter cloths 13 arranged between the adjacent filter plates 10 and 10 so that seal faces between the filter plates 10 and 10 clamp fillers applied to the peripheral edge parts of the filter cloths 13. In a filtrate discharge structure for a filter press, plural sets of paired filter cloths 13 are arranged between the adjoining filter plates 10 and 10, and the fillers of the lower edge parts of the filter cloths 13 are formed below an exhaust passage 16 opened in the seal faces below the filter plates 10. |
