The present invention relates to a system and a method for pretreating a satellite image. The system according to the present invention comprises: a bolometeic correction unit for receiving data observed by a meteorological payload of a satellite, and performing basic bolometeic correction of a UV channel; and a geometric correction unit for performing geometric correction by using data in which basic bolometeic correction of the UV channel is performed. According to the present invention, data observed by a meteorological payload of a satellite is directly received to an image position correction device (INRSM), and basic bolometeic correction of a UV channel is performed. Then, geometric correction is performed, thereby reducing starting time of geometric correction.
