<p>Provided is a production method for producing a tobacco material for oral applications, which can be performed at low cost, and whereby it becomes possible to sufficiently decolor tobacco leaves contained therein and it also becomes possible to enhance a flavor component therein. A method for producing a tobacco material for oral applications, said method comprising a step of exposing a tobacco raw material to ozone, wherein the tobacco raw material comprises tobacco leaves and water and has a water content of 40 to 60% by weight relative to the total amount of the tobacco leaves and water.</p> |
