<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle detection device for a vehicle capable of preventing erroneous detection that the road surface is a target. <P>SOLUTION: An obstacle detection device for a vehicle includes a radar device 4 which is provided between the rear surface of a bumper 6 and a wheel and detects an obstacle by transmitting a radio wave in the outer direction through the bumper 6. In the lower part or the lower side of the radar device 4, an erroneous detection prevention structure 7 is provided in which the erroneous detection is prevented from being caused by road surface arrival wavesαwhich are reflected back from a road surface B after a part a of transmission waves from the radar device 4 passes through between a transmission part of the radar device 4 and the rear surface of the bumper 6 and arrives at the road surface B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
