<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose means to solve buoyancy problems for an underground storage tank. <P>SOLUTION: This invention is a storage tank for rainwater, etc. constructed by digging a ground surface to form a concavity, laying an impermeable sheet on the bottom face of the concavity as a bottom face impermeable sheet, installing a concrete foundation on the bottom face impermeable sheet to form a concrete foundation, arranging unit members on the concrete foundation to form a storage space, making the storage space and the concrete foundation into a single unit and surrounding a side face of the single unit with an impermeable sheet as the side face impermeable sheet, and making the side face impermeable sheet and the bottom face impermeable sheet into a single unit.
