The present invention relates to a method for imparting a hydrophilic property to magnetic nanoparticles. According to the present invention, a nano-emulsion is formed by mixing and stirring, and ultrasonic treating an organic solvent phase wherein unmodified magnetic nanoparticles are dispersed and a water phase wherein unmodified polysaccharides are dispersed, and an organic solvent inside the nano-emulsion is evaporated and removed. Through the above method, the unmodified magnetic nanoparticles is coated with the unmodified natural polysaccharide. Therefore, the present invention has an effect of imparting excellent water-dispersibility, in vivo stability, and targeting performances to hydrophobic magnetic nanoparticles.
