<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for desulfurizing a flue gas for use in an oxygen combustion system, capable of reducing the power used for separating/recovering CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>generated in a power plant and of maintaining power generation efficiency by preventing the oxidation off-gas from diluting the flue gas. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for desulfurizing a flue gas for use in an oxygen combustion system, including an absorption column 1 comprised of a spray nozzle 4 for spraying an absorbent to a flue gas comprising a sulfur oxide introduced from an oxygen combustion system and of a circulation tank 5 that stores the sprayed absorbent, an air blower 10 for blowing oxidation air into the circulation tank 5, and a circulation pump 9 connected to the spray nozzle 4 and the circulation tank 5 to circulate the absorbent, is characterized by including an oxidation off-gas recovery chamber 21 that recovers the oxidation off-gas generated by blowing oxidation air into the circulation tank 5 while separating the flue gas comprising a sulfur oxide, and releases the oxidation off-gas into the atmosphere. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
