摘要 A power consumption amount management system which is capable of appropriately managing the amount of power consumption according to the situation. In the power consumption amount management system, an image forming apparatus and a power consumption management server are connected to a network. An electric power measurement section in the image forming apparatus measures the amount of electric power consumed by the apparatus. A measurement error determination section determines whether or not measurement of the power consumption amount is successful. An interface section outputs a notification of information on the power consumption amount measured in the image forming apparatus and a result of the determination. The power consumption management server receives the notification from the image forming apparatus, and corrects the information on the power consumption amount in the image forming apparatus by referring to the result of the determination.
