According to an embodiment of the specifications of the present invention, a method and an apparatus to prevent a pre-ignition of an engine comprises the steps of: acquiring a pre-ignition occurrence risk index of an engine; determining whether the pre-ignition occurrence risk index is a preset value or above; and executing an operation to prevent an occurrence of the pre-ignition if the pre-ignition occurrence risk index is the preset value or above. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a pre-ignition of an engine can effectively be prevented. |
