A fan case is provided with: a cylindrical case main body (10) comprising a composite material; a linking ring (20) made of Al, the linking ring (20) being fittably secured to the rear end of the case main body (10) and being provided with an annular groove (21) for receiving a reverse thrust load from a reverse-thrust-force-transmitting body (8); and a ring construct (30) made of a Ti alloy, the ring construct (30) being arranged on the rear end of the case main body (10) and being provided with an arcuate groove (31) for receiving and holding a greater reverse thrust load than the reverse thrust load received by the linking ring (20). The ring construct (30) is fitted into an incision (22) in the linking ring (20), and is brought in contact with an outward receiving wall (23) of the linking ring (20), whereby the ring construct (30) is positioned along an axial center (CL) direction and a radial direction relative to the case main body (10), and the annular groove (21) and the arcuate groove (31) are continuous with each other. The ring construct made of a Ti alloy for receiving a great reverse thrust load can be arranged with high positioning accuracy, and can be made to receive and hold the reverse thrust load without imbalance.
