PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner that enables easy mounting of a terminal block.SOLUTION: An outdoor unit includes: an outdoor unit casing; equipment accommodated in the outdoor unit casing; and a terminal block to which at least one of a power source wiring and a signal wiring is connected. The terminal block includes: a through hole through which a screw is inserted; and a projecting portion arranged on the lower surface. A side plate 35 of the outdoor unit casing includes a bent portion 5 that is bent inwards. The bent portion 5 includes: a screw hole 53 corresponding to the through hole of the terminal block; and an engagement portion 54 with which the projecting portion of the terminal block is engaged. The terminal block is mounted to the bent portion 5 by engaging the projecting portion with the engagement portion 54 of the bent portion 5 and screwing the screw into a communication hole between the through hole and the screw hole 53. |
