Disclosed are an apparatus for aligning and assembling a lens optical axis of a camera module and a method therefor that can effectively adjust the optical axis of a lens. The disclosed apparatus for aligning and assembling a lens optical axis of a camera module comprises: a support block for supporting a substrate on which an image sensor is mounted; a displacement sensor for measuring the tilt state of the image sensor; a bolt fastener for fastening a lens holder to the substrate; and a controller for controlling a degree to which the bolt fastener fastens the lens holder to correct the tilt state according to the measurement result of the displacement sensor. Using the lens optical axis aligning and assembling apparatus having such a configuration, it is possible to rapidly and precisely adjust and assemble the optical axis of a lens, thereby implementing a high-performance camera module ensuring a bright and clear captured image. |
