SCAFFOLD AND METHOD OF WORK EMPLOYING THE SCAFFOLD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scaffold by which various kinds of work such as maintenance and check work of a porcelain tube of a member in which the porcelain tube is fixed to an upper part of a cradle and work in the case of emergency such as accident can be performed easily, in a short time and efficiently.SOLUTION: A scaffold 1 is used for a facility 20 including a cradle 21 installed on the ground and a porcelain tube 25 fixed to an upper part of the cradle 21. The scaffold 1 includes: a ladder part 2 that leans against any object from the ground against an outer surface of the cradle 21; and a movable enclosure part 7 connected to a fixed enclosure part 6 that is a portion protruding upwards from the cradle 21 of the ladder part 2. The movable enclosure part 7 is connected to the fixed enclosure part 6 so as to be rotatable between a closed state where the movable enclosure part 7 is closed relatively to the fixed enclosure part 6 and encloses the porcelain tube 25, and an open state where the movable enclosure part 7 is opened relatively to the fixed enclosure part 6.
