The invention relates to a reactor vessel or a reactor vessel lining, in particular for a polymerization reactor, in particular for producing acrylnitrile copolymerisates by means of a suspension polymerization. According to the invention, at least the vessel outer wall consists of a main part having a high mechanical strength while being made of a basic material such as steel or stainless steel. The main part has a coating which faces the reaction chamber and which is made of a highly pure aluminum and has a layer thickness > 1 mm, preferably ranging substantially from 1 mm to 15 mm. The use of aluminum with a very high purity in the range ≥ 99.9% is particularly preferable. |
