<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture the terminal structure of a superconducting cable which can ensure a suitable current-carrying capacity reliably, by connecting a plurality of superconducting wire rods and electrodes via a solder easily and directly.SOLUTION: A terminal structure 100 includes a superconducting cable 110 having a plurality of superconducting tapes 113 wound concentrically around a core material 111, and a cylindrical electrode 120 to which the superconducting tape 113 is terminated and connected. One of the end 113a of the superconducting tape 113 or the cylindrical electrode 120 to which the superconducting tape 113 is connected is subjected to solder plating 151. Subsequently, a connection is formed by arranging the end 113a the cylindrical electrode 120 while superposing via the solder plating 151. Thereafter, a cylindrical diameter-reducing member 130 having thermal conductivity and capable of reducing the diameter is arranged to cover the connection from the outer peripheral side of the end 113a, and the end 113a is pressed against the cylindrical electrode 120 and fixed in place by diameter reduction. Finally, the solder plating 151 is fused by heating the connection.</p> |
