PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate with a repellent coating film especially excellent in repellency, and also excellent in transparency, haze, hardness, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, adhesiveness and the like. ! SOLUTION: There is provided a substrate with a repellent coating film consisting of a substrate and a repellent coating film on a surface of the substrate where the repellent coating film consists of a particle layer containing a metal oxide particle in which a surface of a metal oxide particle for substrate (A) is coated by a metal oxide particle for coating (B) and an overcoat layer on the metal oxide particle layer, the surface of the repellent coating film has an uneven structure with an average height (TF) of the projection portion in a range of 50 to 500 nm and an average distance between projection portions (pitch width) (WF) in the range of 20 to 1000 nm, and the substrate is fiber or fabric and a contact angle with water is in the range of 100 to 180°. !
